How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Construction is a very satisfying career field. It is extremely satisfying to look at a completed project for years and say that you were a part of constructing that building and know that the owner has been satisfied as well.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Olmstead Construction is a local, family owned and operated General Contractor that has more than just our name over the door. We take pride in our work and do everything we can to go above and beyond in order to build lasting relationships with our current and future clients. Our in house staff consisting of estimators, project managers, carpenters, laborers, and cement finishers is experienced in all phases of construction.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
Olmstead Construction has one location based in the S.W. Cedar Rapids, Iowa. We experienced major damages to our previous office due to the Cedar River flooding of 2008 and have since relocated to a larger office and warehouse space that more than accommodates our current and future needs.

Olmstead Construction is open Monday through Friday from 7:30AM to 4:30PM

The best compliment is receiving a call from a client looking to have work done on their next project. That just reiterates that you have done the previous work right from start to finish.
