We sell gently used furniture, lighting, cabinetry, building materials, flooring, plumbing and more! We accept donations at our downtown location Tues-Sat 9a-5p. ReStore offers a donation pick-up service for the community as well. We also carry a variety of new products at a reduced price due to customer demand. We are open to the public to shop,donate and volunteer! You don't have to swing a hammer to help!

How long have you been in business?
10 Years in the Cedar Rapids Metro area.
What is your primary product or service?
New and slightly used Furniture, Appliances, Flooring, Building Materials, Lighting, Plumbing Fixtures, Cabinets, Vanities, Household Items, Recycled Paint, Light Fixtures and Carpet.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
After having spent 30 years in the Building Materials business, I retired in November 2012. Became a volunteer at the Habitat for Humanity ReStore in January of 2013. In July of 2015, the former Director left to pursue other interests and I was appointed the new Director in August of 2015.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We try to sell all our merchandise, whether new or used, at a fraction of the standard retail prices. All of our net proceeds go to Habitat for Humanity to build and renovate homes in this area, Linn and Benton Counties.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
This ReStore is the only one operated by the Cedar Valley Habitat for Humanity. Their are over 840 such stores nationwide, all operated by their local Habitat Affiliate.
